Sishya Niha Yadav

Niha Yadav is an avid dancer and started her Kuchipudi dance journey at the age of five under the guidance of her Guru Smt. Padma Sonti.

Dance has taught her perseverance,discipline and helped her mold into the person she is today.Throughout her many years of being a dedicated dancer, Niha has participated in many performances including Kuchipudi Kalakshetra’s dance ballets such as Hanuman Vaibhavam and more notably, Chenchu Lakshmi. She has performed in various charity events hosted by Mudra Foundation and in various cultural events throughout the DFW Metroplex areas hosted by NATS, TANA, NATA, IANT, Diwali Mela, Dallas Asian Festival etc.

Besides dance, Niha has participated actively in many areas like Karate and has worked very hard for many years to get her black belt. She has participated in many clubs as National Honor Society, Model UN, Robotics, National Spanish Honor Society, and National Math Honor Society. She was also a member of her High School Cross Country and Track and Field teams. Outside of School, Niha has volunteered at many organizations and has earned hundreds of volunteer hours.

Niha has recently graduated from North Hills Preparatory as a Full IB Diploma candidate and will be attending University of Texas at Dallas as a computer science major this fall.

Niha plans on continuing her dance journey and interests in college but(most importantly) she hopes you enjoy her performance today with Ritika.
